This Privacy Policy explains how Pods (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Pods mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.
2.1 Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, and store a securely hashed version of your password (we never store or have access to your plaintext password).
2.2 Usage and Activity Data. We collect information generated by your use of the App, including: goals you create, check-in records (completion status, optional notes, numeric progress values), pod membership and activity, streak and progress data, and notification preferences.

2.4 Payment Information. If you subscribe to Pods Pro, payment is processed entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We do not collect, see, or store your payment card details. We receive limited subscription status information (active, cancelled, etc.) from our payment infrastructure provider (RevenueCat) to manage your account’s access level.
2.5 We Do Not Collect. We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (health records, financial account details, government ID numbers, precise geolocation) unless you voluntarily include such information in free-text fields (e.g., a goal description or check-in note) — please avoid including sensitive personal details in these fields.

4.2 Service Providers. We share limited data with third-party service providers who help operate the App, strictly for that purpose:
These providers are contractually and/or by their own policies restricted from using your data for purposes other than providing services to us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
